BE CAREFUL when reload Touch N’ Go at (PLUS) Highway “Tambah Nilai” booth
A family member of mine was trying to reload his Touch N’ Go card at the PLUS highway. When he reached the drive through “Tambah Nilai” booth, he passed his reload card and a piece of RM100 note to the counter staff. At that time the credit left in his Touch N’ Go card was around RM20+.
Normally after the staff accepted, he/she will reload the card with the amount you wish(my relative wanted to reload RM100) and then swap the card to the ‘card reader’ next to the booth before passing it back to you.
Luckily he was not in a hurry that day, so when the staff (a malay guy) swap the card and pass it back to him, the amount indicator screen in front shows ONLY RM40+ (whereby it shoud show RM120+)!!
My relative notice it and told the staff about it, then only the staff said sorry for the mistake and reload it again. (to RM120+)
Could this be a mistake or did the staff do it on purpose to ‘keep’ the RM80 for himself??
Because normally all PLUS staff will SURELY pass you the receipt, Touch N’ Go card and the balance ALL TOGETHER back to you.
Just a reminder to all PLUS/Touch N’ Go users. Be careful when you reload. REMEMBER to check whether the reload amount is correct!!! Because some people will just reload and drive off in a hurry WITHOUT checking!
My relative suspected that the malay staff has done this ’stealing’ many many times before. Why? Because one will not be so brave to ’steal’ such big amount at first attempt. Normally a new thieve will only start small, then stealing more and more when all the attempt was successful, they will go for ‘big’.

Dont believe citibank introduce a friend program
i introduce 18 friends but less than 10 got approved.
event he one with platinum card. the dont want to give out notebook. so they just give excuse without even think of reveal the situation.
Please share this with your friends. Dont fall to they cheating marketing scheme.

rejection. The approval is determined by our credit committee.
In general, the criterias are based on the documents that you submitted
to us such as your EA form or EPF statement, your previous statements
of
accounts and proof of employment, etc. There are specific guidelines
that governs the approval but we are unable to disclose them.

I am very upset with Citibank as promised in the last year promotion on
the “introduce a friend rewards”. Me and my friend Lim Kim Chi work
hard
and supposed to get a notebook after introducing 18 person to this
program but only 8 person are approved. The rest are rejected for no
reason? Even the one with Platinum card? Is this just to attract people
to introduce friends but limit the rewards.
We even deliver all the forms ourselves to the Citibank HQ and
requested
for chop sign receive.
Hope there is an explaination on why we are not getting the notebook
and
why the other 10 person was rejected. Maybe Citibank isn’t genuine with
their rewards though.
