As my previous post, I did not realize I have a PR 1 for my blog until I played with the Google PR rank a moment ago.

I have not been updating for a few days, but I’ve checked that the traffic and subscribers on my blog did not went down. Strange!

Previously I have a PR 0, fortunately Google decided to award my blog with a PR 1 status. It made me feels that I’ve achieved something here, and thanks to my readers as well. I know my blog is not as famous or as interesting as other probloggers’ blogs. But I’m happy that some stayed to read and some even subscribe to my blog posts. I’m truly grateful to YOU all.

I was playing with google pagerank today and try checking my blog’s pagerank (and a few others as well).

I’m not sad that I have pagerank 0. I believe it takes hard work to achieve good pagerank. All the above checks are for fun only, but I was curious about the last result. All I can say is……

I noticed that there are more and more spammers sending nonsense comments and XXX comments to my blog. Luckily I’ve installed Akismet plugin by Matt Mullenweg which will block such spammers. It’s a good plugin which allows you to determine which comment is spam.

My blog is barely 4 months old which I still considered it new, but I still get spam comments. These 2 weeks the spam comments have been very often. So when I think of this, it’s actually a good sign as this may bring traffic to my blog.

Am I right? Or maybe I’m wrong…

Meaning that even spammers know of my blog and they think that it’s worth to spam here. Hahaha! There’s a slight increase of traffic to my blog for the past 2 weeks. So spammers can be good too… sometimes.
